Course Overview
The Auxiliary Nurse Midwife (ANM) / Health Worker (Female) course prepares healthcare professionals who provide essential nursing care, maternal and child health services, and community health education. The program emphasizes preventive, promotive, and rehabilitative healthcare to support the well-being of women and children in both rural and urban communities.

Eligibility
- The minimum age for admission shall be 17 years on or before 31st December of the year in which admission is sought.
- The maximum age for admission shall be 35 years.
- The minimum educational requirements shall be passing of 12 years of schooling (10 + 2 year course) recognized by CBSE/ICSE/SSSCE/HSCE or a recognized equivalent examination.
- Student shall be medically fit.
- A student shall be admitted once in a year.
Career Opportunities
After successful completion, students can work as Auxiliary Nurse Midwives or Health Workers in Government and Private Hospitals, Primary Health Centers, NGOs, and Community Health Programs. They can also pursue higher education in nursing and public health fields.
