Advance Nursing Lab

The Advance Nursing Lab provides students with opportunities to practice complex nursing procedures and clinical skills in a controlled environment. It helps students gain proficiency in advanced patient care and critical care techniques.

Objectives:

• To enhance students’ competency in advanced nursing procedures.

• To develop skills in managing critical and emergency situations.

• To provide hands-on experience with advanced monitoring and diagnostic equipment.

• To prepare students for safe and effective patient care in hospital settings.

• To strengthen decision-making and clinical reasoning skills.

Key Activities:

• Practice of intravenous therapy, catheterization, and wound care.

• Monitoring and interpretation of vital signs using advanced equipment.

• Simulation of emergency scenarios such as cardiac arrest and respiratory distress.

• Demonstration of care for patients in critical and intensive care units.

• Training in patient communication, documentation, and ethical practice.
